Shannon Connor Gentile studied interior design at Ball State University.  Her career in design began in Indianapolis at a local design firm followed bt The Trade Source, a showroom open to the design trade where she assisted design professionals from all over the state to meet client needs.

In 1996, Shannon moved to LA where she worked for Hinson & Company, a New York based company at the Pacific Design Center.  In LA, she continued to develop her passion for design and attended classes at UCLA in production design and set decoration. At the same time, she worked as a production assistant at Plum Productions in Santa Monica, CA.  After fine-tuning her skills in set decoration and art direction, she set out on her own as a freelance set decorator with project work on myriad commercials for clients, including Dell Computers and Davidoff Cologne.  Shannon returned to her hometown of Indianapolis, IN and open Shannon Connor Design, Inc.  Since opening the firm she has completed work on projects ranging from large office environments to 12,000 sq. foot residential re-models.  She is married to J.P Gentile and together they have two sons, Trey and Jackson.
